AIRS Online
Training allows
staff to take
courses at their own
pace – and at the
times most
convenient to agency
workload. You do not
need to complete a
course in a single
session. You can
return to it
whenever time is
available.
The AIRS courses,
particularly “The
Information &
Referral Process”
and “Introduction to
Taxonomy and
Indexing”, are
excellent
preparation for CIRS/CIRS-A
and CRS
certification
examinations
respectively. All
AIRS courses feature
final tests with
questions written in
the same format as
those in AIRS
Certification
examinations. The
completion
certificate for
online courses can
also be used for
re-certification
purposes (i.e. a
3-hour course can
provide 3 of the 10
training hours
required).
Organizational
(Management) Package
If you
are interested in
providing easier
access to online
training for all
your staff, you
can select a
management package
that provides 24/7
access for all your
staff (no credit
cards needed!), an
administrative
tracking and
reporting system,
